Office Policies

Cancellation/No Shows
Insufficient notification of cancellation (less than 24 hours) will result in a $50 charge being applied to your account. Repeated cancellations or failure to show up for appointments will result in the termination of the patient-doctor relationship. Our office will attempt to find another provider that may be better suited to meet your scheduling needs and expectations.

Parental Presence
Dr. Whitfield & Dr. Eckroat welcome all parents back for the child's first dental visit. Once you have seen our doctor's & staff's interaction with your child, we hope that you will be comfortable allowing us to provide dental care for your child in your absence; however, you are always welcome back with your child for any appointment other than anesthesia or sedation. 

To prevent confusion, and to ensure your child has a positive experience, we request that parents participate as observers only. This will allow our team to effectively communicate with your child during their dental treatment.

Dental Insurance
At Edmond Pediatric & Teen Dentistry, we accept all Dental Insurance Plans.  As a courtesy to you, we will file your insurance claim for you if we have received all your insurance information on the day of the appointment.  To find more information on Dental Insurance, click here.

Financial
Payment is expected at the time all services are rendered. This includes all anticipated insurance co-payments. While Edmond Pediatric & Teen Dentistry may not be a participating provider with your specific insurance plan, we will file all insurance claims for you whenever possible.


We gladly accept Cash, Mastercard, Discover, Visa, and accept most major insurances. Estimated benefits will be calculated for you and payment of the anticipated portion will be required in full before services are rendered.
In rare instances, where full payment is not received, we will assess a charge of 20% interest from the date of service on all outstanding balances carried longer than 30 days.
